Auf der Suche nach einige Elemente einer Frage kam mir in den Sinn. Wie viele von euch wissen, was sind diese vier weißen Dinge rund um das rote Kreuz auf dem Doppeladler Brust?

Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Am serbischen Wappen Feuerstähle in Kombination mit dem Kreuz eigentlich symbolische Bedeutung: "Wir werden das Kreuz mit dem Feuer zu verteidigen!". Als Feuerstähle ähnliche Form wie kyrillischen "S" ("C" haben, ist spätere Interpretation "Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava", die für "Nur die Einheit rettet die Serben" steht.

Jedenfalls las ich einige neuere Beiträge von Kay und Sie zum Brand Stähle, und wie ich euch beide lieben sie weiß, dass ich dachte, du würdest serbischen Wappen interessant finden. Ich bin nicht vertraut mit einem anderen Wappen mit Feuerstähle heute trotz gab es einige Veränderungen in der Vergangenheit, wie Sie erwähnt haben.

Noch einmal danke euch beiden für Ihre Antworten.

Thank you for the reply. On Serbian Coat of Arms fire steels in combination with the cross actually have symbolic meaning "We will defend the cross with fire!". As fire steels have similar shape as Cyrillic "S" ("C"), later interpretation is "Samo Sloga Srbina Spasava", which stands for "Only unity saves the Serbs".

Anyway, I read some recent posts from Kay and you about fire steels, and as I know both of you love them I thought you would find Serbian Coat of Arms interesting. I am not familiar with any other coat of arms using fire steels today despite there were some variations in the past, just as you mentioned.

Wow Thank you very much for great links! I said I was not familiar with similar coats of arms today but it seems like there are quite a lot of them. Of course, I knew about Patriarch Pavle of Serbia and Byzantine Empire. But I am not heraldry expert. And as you said it is never too late to learn new facts However, I find this connection between coats of arms and our hobby very interesting

Hi Hesse.

I agree. And I think in middle ages fire was in everyday use much more then it is today (torches, food preparing, heating etc.)
